Independent Analytics (IndependentWP):

We use Independent Analytics by IndependentWP to analyse the use of our website.
This WordPress plugin provides us with anonymised statistics (e.g., number of visitors, pages viewed, referrer domains, device types, countries) to help improve our content and user experience.
Independent Analytics does not use cookies and stores no personal data such as full IP addresses or user IDs.
A hashed identifier is created locally (from partial IP address, browser type, and a random salt) to recognise returning visits without identifying individual users.
All data is stored only in our own WordPress database and is not transmitted to any third party.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical analysis and website optimisation)
Retention: anonymised analytics data is retained for 24 months and then deleted or further anonymised.
